Our Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance is a four-year undergraduate degree designed to give students hands-on experience and skills in financial concepts and business practices.
Under the guidance of experienced faculty, finance majors learn how to implement the practical tools and techniques used by financial professionals in a variety of settings, from securities and markets to public policy and global economics.

senior year. In a collaborative course, you鈥檒l use the financial and quantitative
skills you鈥檝e learned to work on and research a project topic under the guidance of
the finance program faculty.
Completing an original thesis and discussing your research findings and conclusions ensures you graduate from the BS in Finance degree program with project-based experience.
Students seeking advanced careers in financial planning, investment management, education, or public policy may be interested in pursuing our master鈥檚 in finance degree program following their bachelor鈥檚. Offered in an evening weeknight format, the MS in Finance enables working professionals to attain graduate credentials within 21 months outside of work hours.

Founded by expert economics and finance faculty members, the Economic Freedom Institute is a forum offering finance majors the unique opportunity to discuss, exchange, and
develop ideas surrounding applied economics with other scholarly institutions and
corporate professionals. At EFI functions, students collaborate with a variety of
stakeholders, from labor union officials to corporate executives, to advance a progressive
vision of economic freedom.
